As we expand our Technical Services Division, we are seeking a motivated Junior Trainee Technician to join our growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about technology and eager to build a long-term career in a hands-on technical environment. No extensive experience is required – full training will be provided.  

Job Description:

The Junior Trainee Technician will support the Technical Services team in the commissioning, installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of technical equipment and systems. This entry-level position is designed for individuals who are eager to develop hands-on technical skills. Full training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the setup and installation of new printers, scanners, and related device management software
• Support senior technicians with equipment installations, servicing, and technical projects
• Perform basic diagnostics and troubleshooting under supervision
• Replace consumables (toners, drums, rollers, etc.) and ensure devices are functioning correctly
• Complete basic service reports and documentation as required
• Attend training sessions and actively develop technical skills and product knowledge

Candidate skills knowledge and abilities:

• Basic technical and mechanical aptitude
• Proficiency in computer operations and Microsoft Office
• Basic networking knowledge
• Problem solving ability
• Fluent in both English and Maltese
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to learn and grow within a technical role
